Who we are

Our approach: data minimisation

MyDogCanFly is a mostly static, informational site. We collect as little personal data as possible and we do not sell it. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

What we process

  • Technical & security data: our host (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser and request data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is standard server-log / CDN processing.
  • Functional browser storage: our tools may store your selected breed and airline in your browser (sessionStorage) so your choices carry from one tool to the next. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
  • "Email me the timeline" feature: the message is composed in your own email client (mailto). We do not receive or store the details you enter.
  • Correspondence: if you email us (e.g. to report an error), we process that message to reply and, where relevant, correct the site.

If we later introduce privacy-respecting analytics, they will be opt-in via a consent banner (default: denied) and disclosed in our Cookie Policy.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site (technical data), on functionality strictly necessary to the service you request (browser storage), and on your consent for anything optional.

Your rights

EU/EEA/UK residents (GDPR) have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port their data, and to object to processing. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, access, delete, correct and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request. We do not maintain a marketing database from this site.

International transfers

The publisher is established in the United States and the site is served from Cloudflare's global network. Technical data may therefore be processed in the USA and other countries where our host operates infrastructure.
