Croatia Airlines publishes two overlapping lists: dogs "not acceptable in the baggage compartment" (Affenpinscher, all Bulldog breeds except American Bulldog, all Pugs, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Brussels Griffon, Bull Mastiff, Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, English Toy Spaniel, Japanese Chin, Japanese Spaniel, Lhasa Apso, Pekinese, Pit Bull, Shar Pei, Shih Tzu, Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and cats (British Shorthair, Exotic Shorthair, Himalayan, Persian, Scottish Fold) — plus a separate "fighting dog breeds" list (American Bulldog, Caucasian Ovtcharka, Dogo Argentino, Karabash/Kangal, Rottweiler, Doberman) requiring a reinforced CR82 container if accepted in the hold. American Bulldog appears as the one named exception to the Bulldog ban, yet also appears on the fighting-breed list — the two tables aren't reconciled.
