Traveling to Kuwait with your dog
Kuwait does not use the EU pet-travel framework — it applies its own scheme run by the Public Authority of Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAF). Before your dog travels you must obtain a pet import certificate from PAAF, submit a written request with the pet's and the sponsor's details, and carry a valid veterinary health certificate signed by a licensed veterinarian. Your dog must be vaccinated against rabies between 30 days and one year before arrival, and the health certificate must be dated within 30 days before entry. The exact path depends on the country your dog is travelling from and its animal-health history. Country with an agreed Kuwait certificate
Some countries have an agreed model Kuwait dog/cat health certificate. The United States, for example, uses a specific certificate: the dog needs identification recorded on the certificate, a rabies vaccination given between 30 days and 1 year before arrival, and a licensed veterinarian's certificate dated within 30 days of entry (USDA endorsement is not required for pet dogs and cats). You still need the advance PAAF import certificate and the written request. Kuwait does not run the EU pet-passport scheme, so an EU passport alone is not sufficient.
