All brachycephalic (snub-nosed) dogs & cats are banned as checked baggage, incl. crossbreeds: bulldogs (all), boxer, pug, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Boston terrier, Chow Chow, mastiffs, and Persian/Himalayan/Exotic/British Shorthair/Scottish Fold cats. Pregnant pets are also refused.

Don't give sedatives or tranquillisers before the flight. Restricted guard breeds (Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Doberman, pit bull) need behaviour documents, muzzle, harness and leash.
